Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services offered by Nancy's Cleaning Services ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking or receiving our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

We provide residential, commercial, and post-construction cleaning services as described in your quote, work order, or written agreement. The specific scope, frequency, and pricing will be confirmed before service begins.

2. Estimates and pricing

Estimates are valid for the period stated on the quote (or 30 days if not stated). Pricing may change if the scope of work changes, access or site conditions differ materially from what was described, or you request add-on services. We will obtain your approval before performing work outside the agreed scope when additional charges apply.

3. Payment

Payment terms will be stated in your quote or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • A deposit or prepayment may be required to schedule service
  • Recurring service may be billed on an agreed schedule
  • Final payment is due as stated on the invoice

4. Access and client responsibilities

You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the premises during scheduled times and to:

  • Secure valuables, cash, and sensitive items
  • Inform us of hazards, pets, alarms, or special instructions
  • Ensure utilities (e.g. water, power) are available if required for service

5. Scheduling, cancellation, and rescheduling

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to arrive during the scheduled window. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible. Fees for late cancellations or lockouts may apply as described in your agreement or quote.

6. Satisfaction and service warranty

If you are not satisfied with a completed visit, notify us promptly (for example, within 24–48 hours) so we can address concerns. Any remedy will be consistent with the written terms of your quote or service agreement and applicable law. This section is a general statement only and does not create a guarantee beyond what is expressly agreed in writing.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless a different cap is required by law. We are not responsible for damage to items that were not disclosed as fragile or that were improperly stored or secured.

8. Dispute resolution

The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve disputes through direct communication. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be subject to binding arbitration or courts in the State of Connecticut, as specified in a signed agreement between you and us (your attorney can help choose the right clause).

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
